Vegetarian Mozza Pesto Sammie

Of course we included a veggie sandwich in our sammie series! We love a good veggie sammie and the simplicity of this one is perfection!

Serving Size: 2 Sammies

Ingredients

  • 2 Ciabatta Buns

  • 4 Slices of Tomato

  • 2 Slices of Mozza Cheese

  • 1 Cup fo Alfalfa Sprouts

  • 1/4 Red Onion, sliced

  • 3-4 Tbsp. Mayonaise

  • 3-4 Tbsp. Pesto

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Spread the mayo on the inside of the top of the bun and spread the pesto on the inside of the bottom bun.

  • Lay the cheese, then 2 tomato slices, 1/2 of the red onion, 1/2 of the alfalfa sprouts then finish it off with salt and pepper and then the top bun. Repeat for the second sammie.
