Vegetarian Mozza Pesto Sammie
Of course we included a veggie sandwich in our sammie series! We love a good veggie sammie and the simplicity of this one is perfection!
Serving Size: 2 Sammies
Ingredients
2 Ciabatta Buns
4 Slices of Tomato
2 Slices of Mozza Cheese
1 Cup fo Alfalfa Sprouts
1/4 Red Onion, sliced
3-4 Tbsp. Mayonaise
3-4 Tbsp. Pesto
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Spread the mayo on the inside of the top of the bun and spread the pesto on the inside of the bottom bun.
Lay the cheese, then 2 tomato slices, 1/2 of the red onion, 1/2 of the alfalfa sprouts then finish it off with salt and pepper and then the top bun. Repeat for the second sammie.
