Savory Waffles

I am a fan of waffles don’t get me wrong but I am more of a savory over sweet kind of person so this was a no-brainer to combine the two. You are welcome.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Serving Size: 6-8 Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Easy Pancake Mix (the “just add water” kind)

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

  • 1/2 Cup Green Onion, chopped

  • 1 Tsp. JamDinners Italian Seasoning

Directions

  • Pre-heat your waffle maker. Combine all ingredients above together in a large bowl.

  • Scoop portions into waffle maker ensuring not to add too much. Cook about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked. I mean you know your waffler maker better than me.

  • Repeat for all mix.

  • Serve with cooked bacon, additional green onion and shredded cheese and drizzle with hot sauce and ketchup or salsa!
