'Pretty in Pink' Chocolate Chip Cookies

An easy recipe with a twist to make them extra PRETTY for Valentine’s day! A fun treat for the kids or for that Galentine’s girls night you are always sure to enjoy! We aren’t much for celebrating hallmark holidays like this one but the Mr loves any excuse for me to make cookies. He gets to be the taste tester and enjoys critiquing allllllllllll of the cookies!

Serving Size: 16-24 Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Flour

  • 1 Cup White Chocolate Chips

  • 2/3 Cup Butter

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 Large Egg

  • 2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda

  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt

  • Pink or Red Food Coloring

Directions

  • Pre-heat over to 350F degrees. Soften butter in a large bowl then add in both sugars and using a hand mixer, combine. Add in vanilla and the egg until JUST mixed.

  • Add in the flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well but don’t over mix. Add in 4-8 drops of food coloring and mix with a spoon or fork. Add more coloring if needed.

  • Add in the chocolate chips. and stir lightly with a spoon or your hands.

  • Roll dough into 1-2 inch balls and lay on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the bottoms just begin to brown. Remove from oven, allow to cool and enjoy.
