Peach Cobbler

Another CLASSIC Fall dessert! The Peach Cobbler. Super easy and so delicious. It may be an unpopular opinion but I actually would say the cobbler is in direct competition with a Pumpkin Pie.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Peaches, peeled and sliced

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Flour

  • 1/3 Cup Milk

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup Margarine, softened

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 Tsp. Baking Powder

  • 1 Tsp. Cinnamon

  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt

  • 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, 2/3 of the sugar baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add the milk and egg.

  • Spread the softened margarine in the bottom and up the sides of a round baking pan. Pour the batter mixture into the pan.

  • In a separate bowl combine the peeled & chopped peaches with the remaining sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Toss until peaches are all covered. Pour the peach mixture over the batter mixture.

  • Sprinkle with the brown sugar. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until browned. Serve with ice cream or whip cream.
