Peach Cobbler
Another CLASSIC Fall dessert! The Peach Cobbler. Super easy and so delicious. It may be an unpopular opinion but I actually would say the cobbler is in direct competition with a Pumpkin Pie.
Ingredients
2 Cups Peaches, peeled and sliced
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Flour
1/3 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Margarine, softened
1 Egg
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Vanilla
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, 2/3 of the sugar baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add the milk and egg.
Spread the softened margarine in the bottom and up the sides of a round baking pan. Pour the batter mixture into the pan.
In a separate bowl combine the peeled & chopped peaches with the remaining sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Toss until peaches are all covered. Pour the peach mixture over the batter mixture.
Sprinkle with the brown sugar. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until browned. Serve with ice cream or whip cream.
