Parmesan Rice

I have never met a rice I didn’t like. That is probably why I am on the curvier side. I could eat rice with every meal or as a meal in itself. I just decided a couple months ago to whip together a few ingredients to give my bowl of rice a little extra and it turned out AMAZING! I l couldn’t have predicted it to turn out any better.

Serving Size: 3-4

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup White or Basmati Rice

  • 1.5 Cups Water

  • 1/2 Cup Milk

  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese

  • Garlic Powder to taste

  • Dried Parsley to taste

  • Oregano to taste

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Place rice and water into a small/medium sized bottle , sprinkle with some salt and bring to a boil. Add milk, garlic powder and oregano then turn to low and simmer.

  • Cook fully - about 40 minutes. Add parmersan cheese and more spices. Mix well. Top with dried parsley and serve.
