Leftover Turkey Day Pizza

It is the day after Thanksgiving or Easter and your fridge is FULL of leftovers … what can you do other then the typical leftover meals or sandwiches? Why not Pizza? Leftover Turkey Day Pizza is ABSOLUTELY what you want to do! You can throw on as much or as little of each topping on top … you do you!

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Pizza Crust

  • 2 Cups Turkey Pieces

  • 1 Cup Mashed Potatoes

  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese

  • 1 Cup Stuffing

  • 1 Cup Gravy

  • 1/2 Cup Cranberry Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup of Misc Leftover Veggies (Brussel Sprouts, Corn etc)

  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • 1 Tbsp. Margarine, melted

  • 1 Tsp. Oregano

  • 1 Tsp. Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Pepper

  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 400F degrees. Lay out the pizza crust and lather a thin layer of oil on to the crust as if it is the pizza sauce. We opted to make our own crust from scratch, if you choose to there a number of easy crust recipes on the internet BUT if you are still nursing your Thanksgiving food coma, a pre-formed crust will do! Top with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mozza cheese and cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder if desired.

  • Brush the crust edges with melted margarine or oil then sprinkle with oregano.

  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Broil on LO for 4-6 minutes. Remove from the oven the drizzle with gravy and enjoy!
