Grilled Turkey Sandwiches with a 'Moist Maker'

Any Friends lovers in the house? Well if you are then I imagine you remember the episode with the moist maker turkey sandwich. MYYYYYYY SANDWICHHHH MYYYYYY SANDWICH! If there are 2 different things I have learned from that episode it is 1. never get between Ross and his sandwich. 2. A gravy soaked piece of bread in the middle of a sandwich is ALWAYS a good idea.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pieces of White Bread

  • Good sized pieces of leftover turkey

  • 1 Cup Gravy

  • 1/2 Cup Cranberry Sauce

  • 2 Slices Mozzarella Cheese

  • 2-3 Tsp. Margarine

  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Directions

  • Melt 2 tsp. of margarine in a medium pan.

  • Lay 2 pieces of bread out. On 1 spread out the cranberry sauce, on the other lay the cheese. Lay turkey on both sides of each piece of bread, covering the cheese and sauce. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.

  • Lay down the piece of bread dressed with the cranberry sauce in the pan. Dip the 3 piece of bread into the gravy. Allow the gravy to fully soak in but not for too long. Lay on top of the cranberry bread. the place the bread with cheese/turkey on it on top turkey side down. Careful not to lose the cheese or turkey when doing this.

  • Butter the top part of the bread. Allow the bottom bread to brown in the pan then flip.

  • Cook until cheese is melted and that side of the bread is brown. Serve with turkey soup!
