Lasagna Dip
Lasagna is the Mr’s FAVORITE meal. We make it every year for his birthday and he has a specific recipe that he loves the most. It is hilarious. So when I suggested Lasagna DIP … it was an easy sell for him. I used most of the same ingredients minus the noodles and 1 or 2 others.
Another great dish for football Sunday especially the chilly Sunday’s!

1 Baguette, sliced
1/2 Lb. Ground Beef

Pre-heat oven to 375F degrees. In a medium pan, add the ground beef, onion powder, Italian seasoning and 1/2 each of the salt, pepper, parsley and garlic powder. Cook until browned. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
While the beef is cooling, combine the parmesan cheese, ricotta, remaining garlic powder, pepper in a bowl and mix.
In a separate bowl, combine the marinara and tomato paste. Season with additional pepper and parsley if desired.
Spray a glass casserole dish then spread the ricotta cheese mixture along the bottom. spread the ground beef on top then pour the marinara/tomato paste mixture over top.
Top with a heavy portion of mozza cheese. Bake for 25 minutes. Broil for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
Spread a light layer of margarine on all the baguette slices and sprinkle with garlic powder. Add to the oven when you broil the dip, remove at the same time.
Allow the dip to cool slightly before eating.
