Feta & Spinach Turkey Burgers
When making ‘healthier’ recipes I always make sure to get really creative with them so they don’t taste boring. My favorite way to cook turkey burgers is greek style! I use lemon, dill, feta and spinach - soooo tasty! Pairing this burger with a fresh greek salad makes for a perfect summer meal you can feel good about eating. Even swap the burger bun out for a wrap or lettuce wrap.
Serving Size: 4 Patties
Ingredients
1 Lb. Ground Turkey
1/2 Cup Feta, crumbled
1/2 Cup Fresh Spinach, chopped
1-2 Tbsp. Dill Seasoning
2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
2 Tsp. Oregano
2 Tsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
1 Egg
2/3 Cups Large Flaked Oats
Toppings
1/2 Cucumber, sliced
1 Tomato, sliced
1/2 Red Onion, sliced
1 Cup Tzatiki Sauce
Directions
Combine all ingredients except the cucumber, tomato, red onion and Taztiki in a bowl and mix well. You can seal this really well and allow to sit in the fridge for a couple hours for enhanced flavors.
Form into patties and heat BBQ to appropriate temperature. Cook fully, flipping 1/2 way through. Top with all listed toppings and additional Feta and serve on a fresh bun!
