Fish Taco Bowls
Big surprise .. another taco recipe! Well if you don’t like them … get outta here! Tacos are life! This taco bowl is ALSO LIFE! All of the yummy goodness you would hope for but with no bread. We lightly bread the fish and air fryer in our Ninja Air Fryer and we are never disappointed.
Serving Size: 2 Bowls
Breading Ingredients
2 Haddock Fillets, cut into smaller portions
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Pepper
1/2 Tsp. Paprika
1/2 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Egg
Bowl Ingredients
4-6 Cups Romaine Lettuce, washed and ripped
1 Cup Creamy Sweet Chili Sauce
1/2 Cup Corn
1/2 Cup Black Beans
1 Roma Tomato, sliced
1 Jalapeno, sliced
1/2 Red Onion, sliced
1 Avocado
Cooking Spray
Directions
Grab 2 separate bowls for the breading ingredients. In 1 bowl, combine all dry ingredients and in the other bowl, whisk the egg until well mixed.
Take the portions of haddock and start by dipping in the flour mixture then the egg then back into the flour mixture again. Ensure that in each dip, the fish is entirely covered. Set aside and repeat for all other pieces. Allow the fish to sit in the fridge for 1hr.
Turn on your air fryer and spray the bottom generously. Lay the fish in a single layer. Spray the tops with cooking spray then begin cooking. We usually recommend the standard temp with a starting point of 20 minutes.
Every 5-7 minutes, pause and open up the air fryer, shake the fish around and continue cooking. 1/2 Way through cooking, flip the fish and continue cooking.
While the fish is cooking, prep the bowls with desired toppings. Once fish is cooked lay on top then drizzle with desired amount of sauce!
