Sub Salad

Yes this dish is as simple as the name states. It is a sub salad. It includes some of your favorites from a classic deli-meats sub but without all the bread. I constantly crave subs from Subway … CONSTANTLY, and I am not pregnant but I am honest with myself and know I simply can’t eat all of that bread so this salad is a great way to get that fix. We use some of the freshest ingredients from our local farmers market in the salad.

Serving Size: 2 Full Sized Salads

Ingredients

  • 300g of your favorite Deli Meats, chopped

  • 4-6 Cups Fresh Butter and/or Romaine Lettuce, washed and ripped

  • 1 Green Pepper, sliced

  • 1/2 Red Onion, sliced

  • 1 Tomato, sliced

  • 1/2 Cup Banana Peppers

  • 1/2 Cucumber, sliced (optional)

  • 1/2 Cup of your favorite dressing (we use Newman’s Parmesan Roasted Garlic)

Directions

  • Combine all vegetable ingredients in 2 salad bowls, ensuring even distribution of all ingredients.

  • Top with meat and drizzle dressing over top - enjoy!
