Easy Pita Pizzas
Looking for an easy and delicious dinner for you and the kids on a school night where you do not really want to cook? We gotchu! These make dinners so darn easy without compromising taste.
Ingredients
2 Pitas
1/4 Can of Pizza Sauce
1-2 Cups of Shredded Mozza Cheese
10-14 Slices of Pepperoni
Vegetables of choice, sliced
1-2 Tsp. JamDinners Italian Seasoning
1-2 Tsp. EVOO Basil Oil
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Lay out the pitas and spread an even amount of pizza sauce on both pitas almost to the edge. Sprinkle the mozza cheese over top of the pizza sauce.
Top the pizzas with desired meat and veggies. Lightly brush the crust edges with the EVOO Basil Oil then sprinkle over the edges and a little over the meat/cheese our Italian Seasoning.
Bake about 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts and edges begin to brown. We don’t recommend broiling as the pita crusts are likely to burn quickly.
MAKE IT EASY - I mean how much easier to do you want it to be? You can purchase the pre-shredded cheese versus shredding it on your own and you can opt for the already sliced pepperoni.
