Are You Super Bowl Ready?
Super Bowl Sunday is one of my favorite days of the year. You get the 2 best football teams in the NFL (this of course is debatable depending on who you talk to of course lol) going head to head for the championship, you get amazing half time shows and you get to eat all the delicious appie or pub style food your heart desires! We have rounded up a few of our favorite super bowl or snacky creations to share with you - check em out!
Corn Dogs: I mean these are such a childhood treat if you ask me. I loved getting the Pogo ones as a kid and putting them in the oven. Now as an adult our tastes have obviously evolved and I don’t know that the Pogo ones would be quite as good. We made our own from scratch and they are surprisingly easier then you would think and WAY more delicious! They are the perfect game day snack and you will wow your guests!
Chicken Wings: Such a classic! Who can go wrong with Chicken Wings? You can bake them, fry them or BBQ them and either way they always turn out delicious. We love making them with our homemade Buffalo Chicken Wing Dry Rub *insert drooling face here! We even sometimes add franks hot sauce to them. Our recipes include the classic S&P as well as a delicious Dill Pickle one using the caesar rimmer from Crystal’s Can Co! Check them out.
Pulled Pork Nachos: Yeah you read that right. Pulled Pork Nachos. Such a great recipe because you can prep the pulled pork ahead of time on the smoker or in the slow cooker and leave it to cook in all its glory or use leftover pulled pork. Then you can load up the nachos and look like a genius in the kitchen when your guests come over to watch the big game. Check em out!
Lasagna Dip: Do you love lasagna as much as my other half? It is literally his favourite meal, especially the version our friend Wendy shared with us. Anyways, lasagna is not really a game day snack but that doesn’t mean you cant still enjoy all the flavors of a delicious lasagna!
Big Mac Sliders: Are you doing a low carb or keto thing for the big game? We gotchu covered. Even if you aren’t intentionally sticking to a low carb diet these easy sliders with no bun are such a clever and delicious snack for Super Bowl. And if you love a bigmac as much as we do then you will really appreciate these easy snacks!
Tater Tot Skewers: Maybe you are a vegetarian or you already have enough carnivor-ous items on the menu for Super Bowl. Either way, the tatertots are a super easy/individual snack and you can omit the bacon and drizzle these baked babies with whatever sauces it is you are looking for. We use ranch and hot sauce, maybe you want ranch and bbq sauce or instead of melted cheese maybe you want to drizzle with a cheese sauce and chili. You do you boo.
Seven Layer Dip: This has to be another classic for any sort of sports party or event. A 7 layer dip is an easy scoop up at the grocery store on the way to the party and it is always a crowd pleaser. It is also incredibly easy to make from home. You can even spruce up some of the ingredients when you make it yourself. Find our easy recipe for it and WOW your friends.
