Turkey Alfredo Bake

I just love the Fall. So many Pasta (and other CARB HEAVY meals) to make! I love Alfredo too. You may notice a few extra variations of Alfredo meals this season. We are on that Alfredo kick … and I am not disappointed. This Turkey Alfredo Bake is creamy, cheesey and baked to perfection. You could easily just make the pasta on the stove and move on but what fun is that?

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Cups Cooked Angel Hair Pasta

  • 1 Lb. Ground Turkey

  • 1 Jar of Garlic Cream Alfredo Sauce

  • 2-3 Cups Parmesan/Mozza Cheese

  • 1 Cup Mushrooms, chopped

  • 1/4 White Onion, chopped

  • 1-2 Tsp. Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tsp. Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Pepper

  • 1 Tsp. Chili Flakes

  • Cooking Spray

  • Parsley for Garnish

Directions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350F degrees then cook pasta as per instructions, rinse and set aside.

  • Spray a medium pan with cooking spray and heat up over medium-high heat and add the onions to saute. After about 4-5 minutes add in the ground turkey and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

  • Allow the turkey to almost fully cook then add in the mushrooms and additional seasonings if desired. Continue cooking over medium heat until turkey is fully cooked.

  • Add in the garlic Alfredo sauce and mix well. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking.

  • Add in the chili flakes and mix around. Add in 1/2 cup - 1 cup of cheese and melt with the sauce/meat. Add in the pasta and combine well. Taste test and add any additional seasonings.

  • Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray then transfer the past mixture. Top evenly with remaining cheese and bake until top begins to golden brown. Approximately 20-25 minutes. Broil on LO at the end to add extra crispiness.

  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with a little more chili flakes, garnish with fresh parsley and serve with a delicious glass of wine.
