Mark's Famous Chili

Mark loves chili. Actually, he loves anything ‘hearty’ but chili is one of his favorites. It pairs perfectly with cold days and cozy nights staying in. It is definitely a little on the heavier side so you may want to enjoy a fresh salad for lunch the day you plan on making this!

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef

  • 5 Roma Tomatoes, diced

  • 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes (no Salt added)

  • 1 Can Beans in Tomato Sauce

  • 1 Can Black Beans (reduced Salt)

  • 1 Can Dark Kidney Beans

  • 1 Can Corn, drained

  • 1 Can Sliced Mushrooms

  • 1 Onion, chopped

  • 3 Tbsp. Chili Powder

  • 3 Tbsp. Salt

  • 2 Tbsp. Pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. Franks Red Hot Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke (optional)

  • 1 Bulb Garlic, minced

  • 2 Tsp. Garlic Powder

Directions

  • Combine beef, onion and minced garlic in a large pot. Cook until beef is browned. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer minimally 1-2 hours. Enjoy!
