Lets Have a Hoppin' Good Easter!

Easter is practically here and it is one of my favorite holidays. Why? I genuinely do not know why but I love it. Maybe because it also usually aligns with the start of Spring too and then sun is shining, the grass is turning green … all of the good things come with Spring.

We wanted to round up a few of our NEW Easter recipes as well as a couple classics that really help bring Easter to life. We have a couple main dishes, a couple sides, desserts and even breakfast go-to’s for the upcoming holiday.

Breakfast Options:

  1. Blueberry Lemon Poppy Seed Waffles - Such a fun spin to get your fruit in. Especially if you have children!

  2. Savory Waffles - If you aren’t a fan of sweet breakfasts and savory options are more your jam then these waffles are perfect for Easter morning. I personally prefer savory waffles over anything sweet so you know I love these babies.

  3. Hashbrown Eggs Nests - Homemade hashbrowns. Delicious egg cups. Holiday themed. Checks a few of my boxes that is for sure! If you want to make life easier you can certainly use the store bought shredded hashbrowns and you will achieve the same results.

Sides & Appies:

  1. Cucumber Caprese Pasta Salad - If you are a fan of caprese skewers then this side dish is for you. We really enjoyed the different flavors it brings to your Easter dinner.

  2. Bunny Bread & Spinach Dip - I mean come on. How cute. And seriously ….. how freakin easy? By far one of the easiest bread dishes we have made and you can make it even easier by pairing with a store bought spinach dip instead of making one.

  3. Gluten Free Vegan Stuffing - This is one of our oldest recipes and it is STILL a go-to for family dinners. There is just something so tasty about homemade stuffing.

Main Dishes:

You of course can easily go with a classic turkey or ham dish but if you have a smaller group and want to have fun with the main dish you can smoke a nice piece of beef or go with something like the Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin.

  1. Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin - Give me ALL the pork!! Pork loin wrapped in bacon? Yum. Oh and did I mention that it is also stuffed … **insert drool face here**

Desserts:

  1. Mini Egg Cookies - A classic. Super easy and so tasty. I love a good mini egg cookie. I would be lying if I didn’t also say they photograph extremely well. We also have these in a blondie version which is very similar and you can find them on the website too.

  2. Cheesecake Carrot Blondies - Holy eff! This could easily become your new go-to easter dessert. Creamy and sweet and easy to make. Voila.
