Herby Butter Steak

Who doesn’t love an easy and flavorful butter melted on top of their piping hot steak. Makes me feel fancy that’s for sure.

Ingredients

  • 2 Steaks

  • 2-3 Tbsp. Butter

  • 1.5 Tsp Salt

  • 1.5 Tsp. Pepper

  • 1.5 Tsp. Garlic

  • 1 Tsp. Fresh Oregano

  • 1 Tsp. Fresh Sage

  • 1 Tsp. Fresh

  • 1 Tsp. Fresh Parsley

  • Fresh Thyme Twigs

Directions

  • Remove the butter from the fridge to allow to soften. Add the fresh spices (except the Thyme) and 1/2 tsp of each salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well with the butter.

  • Season the steaks with remaining salt, pepper and garlic powder. Set aside.

  • Cook the steak as desired - we typically BBQ until medium rare.

  • Remove steak from cooking surface, plate ASAP with desired sides and add 1 tsp of butter on top of each steak quickly so it begins to melt. Top with a twig of Thyme and serve.


MAKE IT EASY - Use our Italian Seasoning or preferred dried seasonings from your cupboard.

MAKE IT EXTRA - Whip the butter together and make a larger portion then freeze some for later use.

MAKE IT VEGETARIAN - Use the herby butter on potatoes or vegetables instead of steak.
