Greek Dip
I have been meaning to make this dish for quite some time, I just could never find the right time to do it. Well, the right time arrived and here we are. This dish is a nice switch up from the classic dips you enjoy as an appie with friends or family. I enjoy it because it is a little lighter and very fresh!
Ingredients
16oz of Cream Cheese, softened
8 oz of Garlic Hummus
1 Cucumber, sliced and chopped into 1/4’s
2 Roma Tomatoes, chopped
3/4 Cup Crumbled Feta Cheese
1/2 Cup Kalamata Olives, chopped
1/2 Green Pepper, chopped
1/2 Red Onion, chopped
1-2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1-2 Tsp. Oregano
1-2 Tsp. Pepper
1-2 Tsp. Salt
1-2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
Chips to serve with the dip
Directions
Combine the softened cream cheese with the seasonings. Spread evenly across the bottom of a casserole dish.
Evenly spread the hummus overtop of the cream cheese.
Chop all the veggies and combine in a medium bowl then add on top of the hummus.
Lastly, add the feta and keep in the fridge until ready to serve with chips, crackers or pita chips.
