Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes are always delicious .. but let’s be honest, GARLIC mashed potatoes are a million times better. Garlic just steps up your potato game. These are just about as simple as regular mashed potatoes but your guests during your holiday dinner are sure to be impressed.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Large Red or Russett Potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese

  • 1/2 Cup Milk

  • 2-3 Tbsp. Margarine or Butter

  • 1 Bulb of Garlic, minced or 2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Parsley for garnish (*Optional*)

Directions

  • Fill a large pot 3/4 full with water and boil on the stove over high heat. Add the potatoes and allow them to cook until you can easily put a fork through them.

  • Once potatoes are soft, drain the water and then place the potatoes back in the pot, add all additional ingredients (except the parsley) into the pot and mash up the potatoes well.

  • Add more milk, margarine, garlic or spices as desired based on taste.

  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
