Fry-Yay! 6 Ways to Cavendish
i have to start this by telling you about my serious dislike for frozen french fries! Even growing up, I would eat them but really not enjoy them because you could never really get them the way you would find them in a restaurant. I always AVOIDED THEM …. until Cavendish hit the market, or until I gave them a try I guess. I am not an influencer for them, I just have a serious love for them, so does Mark! They are the only frozen fry products we buy! With that being said, we rounded up 6 of our favorite recipes using a few of their best products!
Fish n’ Chips - honest how can you go wrong with fish and chips? They are a pub classic and maybe not the easiest to make at home but darn are they good! The extra crispy regular fries are the perfect compliment to the fried fish and perfect for dipping in the extra tartar sauce!
Truffle Fries w/ Shaved Parm - OH.EM.GEE. We used their ‘restaurant style’ fries and after cooking them we tossed them in a little truffle oil, sprinkled them with a little truffle salt and then shredded fresh parmesan cheese on top. The perfect appie if you ask us!
Breakfast Hashbrowns - Nothing fancy here but these little hashbrown patties are so tasty and pair perfectly with a ketchup/valentina’s hot sauce mix for a breakfast side or an appie also. The reason I say appie is because this dish reminds me of the tater tot appie you can get at National here in Calgary! Why can’t you have tater tots or hashbrown rounds for an appie right?
Chili Cheese Wedges - hello Football Sunday snack! Is it acceptable to crush these every Sunday? … Asking for a friend. These are super easy to make (as is almost all of our meals) and we can’t get enough of them! We love to add a little heat to them too with hot sauce and banana peppers. tHE CRIPSY WEDGES ARE THR PERFECT BOAT TO GET ALL THAT GOODNESS IN MY MOUTH!
Shoestring Fries w/ Dill Dip - Have you every had the fries and dill dip at OJ’s? Well this is better and when you pair it with the Shoestring fries from Cavendish … perfection. The dip is easy to make and the fries are easy to cook.
Regular Fries w/ Garlic Aioli - Another classic side dish and if you have been following along you would know how often we crush fries and garlic aioli. Their classic fries just pair so perfectly.
