Fish Tacos

By far the most common recipes on the blog are Mexican recipes. Clearly we love Mexican. Whether it’s burritos, tacos, taco salad, taco pasta, chicken, beef vegetarian … It really doesn’t matter LOL! These fish tacos are AMAZING and one of our favorite of the taco-style dishes! We even make a ridiculously easy creamy Thai sauce to compliment the fish. We used snapper fish but really any white fish will do!

  • 1 Large or 2 Small Fillets of White Fish (like Basa or Snapper), cut into cubes

  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  • 1-2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce

  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt

  • 1/2 Tsp. Pepper

  • 1 Avocado, sliced

  • 2 Cups Lettuce, washed and ripped

  • 1/2 Red Onion, sliced

  • 1 Jalapeno, sliced

  • 5-8 Cherry Tomatoes, sliced

  • or any other veggies you like on your fish tacos

  • 1/2 Cup Creamy Sweet Chili Sauce

Directions

  • Combine all marinade ingredients into a ziploc bag and allow to marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours.

  • Once the fish has been marinated long enough, allow a medium sized pan to heat up on the stove over medium heat.

  • Add the fish and allow to cook fully.

  • Once the fish is cooked, dress your tortilla with your favorite ingredients, top with fish and drizzle with the chili sauce. Squeeze fresh lime juice on top and enjoy!
