Fish Tacos
By far the most common recipes on the blog are Mexican recipes. Clearly we love Mexican. Whether it’s burritos, tacos, taco salad, taco pasta, chicken, beef vegetarian … It really doesn’t matter LOL! These fish tacos are AMAZING and one of our favorite of the taco-style dishes! We even make a ridiculously easy creamy Thai sauce to compliment the fish. We used snapper fish but really any white fish will do!
Fish Marinade Ingredients
1 Large or 2 Small Fillets of White Fish (like Basa or Snapper), cut into cubes
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1-2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1-2 Tsp. Lime Juice
1-2 Tsp. Chili Flakes
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
Taco Ingredients
4 Small Tortillas
1 Avocado, sliced
2 Cups Lettuce, washed and ripped
1/2 Red Onion, sliced
1 Jalapeno, sliced
1 Lime, cubed and used as garnish
5-8 Cherry Tomatoes, sliced
or any other veggies you like on your fish tacos
1/2 Cup Creamy Sweet Chili Sauce
Directions
Combine all marinade ingredients into a ziploc bag and allow to marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours.
Once the fish has been marinated long enough, allow a medium sized pan to heat up on the stove over medium heat.
Add the fish and allow to cook fully.
Once the fish is cooked, dress your tortilla with your favorite ingredients, top with fish and drizzle with the chili sauce. Squeeze fresh lime juice on top and enjoy!
