Christmas Crack

Who doesn’t love holiday ‘CRACK’? I made an Easter version in the Spring and it was to die for. You know I have to continue the tradition and do one for Christmas too! The perfect sweet treat .. especially because i find it lasts for a long time because you can’t have too many pieces.

Ingredients

  • 34-40 Graham Crackers

  • 1.5 Pack Bakers White Chocolate, crushed

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 Cup Margarine

  • Red Food Coloring (optional)

  • Green Food Coloring (optional)

  • Red & Green Sprinkles

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 325F degrees. Cover a baking sheet in tin foil and lay out the saltines.

  • In a small pot, combine the margarine and brown sugar. Melt the butter and mix the brown sugar until fully dissolved.

  • Drizzle the butter/sugar mixture over the crackers, ensuring even coverage. Bake 7-9 minutes.

  • While they are baking, melt the chocolate. Separate a couple tbsp into 2 separate small bowls and add a couple green food coloring drops to one, and red to the other. Mix up.

  • Drizzle the melted white chocolate evenly over the crackers and then add random spots of green or red if desired. Mix in together. Add sprinkles or crushed candy cane and then freeze for a minimum 2 hours.

  • Remove from freezer, break into 2inch pieces and the refreeze until you plan to eat them.
