Juicy Homemade Chicken Burgers

Day 3 of Burger Week is usually a Chicken Burger. I personally really enjoy making my own burger patties, then I can control what goes in it. These Chicken burgers are very juicy and are best served with lettuce, tomato, onion, , avocado, jalapeno cheese and a BBQ sauce. We make our own secret BBQ sauce too …. which I may share with you one day! I sometimes use very little bread crumbs/oats because it dries the patties out too much for my liking but feel free to add more.

Serving Size: 4 Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Ground Chicken

  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tsp. Seasoning Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 Tsp. Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Pepper

  • 1/3 Cup Cracker Crumbs (we use Cheese Nibs for fun)

  • 1/2 Cup Large Oats

  • 1 Cup BBQ Sauce

  • Cheddar Cheese Slices

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together and then form into patties. Heat BBQ to appropriate temperature and cook through. Flipping 1/2 way. Lather BBQ sauce on each side once almost fully cooked and melt a piece of cheese on 1 side at the end prior to pulling off the BBQ! Enjoy!
