Buffalo Chicken Grilled Sammies

If you have been here long enough then you will be familiar with our Buffalo Chicken recipes. We love taking that recipe and getting creative with it. These grilled sammies are so tasty and incredibly easy!

Ingredients

  • 4 Pieces of White Bread

  • 1 Chicken Breast

  • 3/4 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • 1/2 Red Onion, sliced and sauteed with salt and pepper

  • 1/2 Cup Ranch Dressing

  • 1/4 Cup Franks Hot Sauce

  • 2-3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise

  • 1 Tsp. Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

  • 1 Tsp. Pepper

Directions

  • Add the chicken, seasonings, ranch and hot sauce into a small crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or until chicken is fully cooked. Once the chicken is cooked, use 2 forks and shred the chicken directly in the crock pot. Add additional spices or sauces if desired. Allow to stay warm until you are ready to prep the sammies.

  • Once you are ready to make your sammie, heat up a medium pan, lather 1 side of two pieces of bread with mayonnaise and lay mayo-side down on the pan.

  • Evenly cover both pieces with cheddar cheese the generously scoop the shredded chicken evenly on both pieces.

  • Top with sauteed onions then spread mayonnaise on 1 side of the remaining pieces of bread and light press them down on top of the sauteed onions, mayo side out.

  • Fry until the bottom bread is nicely browned then flip and repeat for the other side. Remove from pan, cut in 1/2 and enjoy!
