Spider Brownies

Mmmmmm Brownies. To be honest, I don’t often crave brownies, I am more of a salty/savory person then a sweets person but damn they are good when I do crave them/eat them. What a simple treat to make for halloween too requiring only 1 extra ingredient from your typical brownies!

Serving Size: 16 Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

  • 1/2 Cup Melted Margarine

  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa

  • 1/2 Cup Flour

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla

  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

  • Vanilla Icing Piping Bag

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the margarine, sugar and cocoa. Mix well so the sugar is not granulated anymore.

  • Add in the eggs and vanilla, stir well.

  • Lastly, add the flour and salt and mix until fully combined and fold in the chocolate chips ans gently mix.

  • Fold mixture into a square baking pan (spray the pan with cooking spray first) and spread evenly. Bake 20-22 minutes - but not much longer! You do not want to overcook.

  • Allow to fully cool and then cut into even portions. Create spider webs in the corner using white icing and a piping bag. Place in fridge immediately after piping so that the icing sets, them remove and enjoy!
