Spicy Naan Grilled Cheese

I don’t know about you but a classic grilled cheese is such a damn good lunch. Sure you can use fancy bread or fancy cheese but honestly a classic grilled cheese is so damn good. Well we did try and get a little fancy …. and it really brought our grilled cheese game to the next level! The levels of spice that we added in the cooking process bring out so much flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Naan

  • 3/4 Cup Mozza Cheese

  • 2-3 Tsp. Margarine

  • 1-2 Tsp. Chipotle EVOO Oil

  • 1 Tsp. Salt

  • 1 Tsp. Pepper

  • 1 Tsp. Chili Flakes

  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

  • A Handful of Parsley for garnish

Directions

  • Cut the Naan Bread in half. Lightly brush the insides of the bread with butter/margarine. Add 1 tsp. of butter/margarine and a couple dollops of chipotle oil to a pan and melt over medium heat.

  • Add 1 half of the naan bread, margarine side up then cover that half with cheese. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder then add the other 1/2 of the naan bread. Ensure that second half is butter side down.

  • Grill until browned then flip, add a little more chipotle oil if needed, lightly press down on the sammie and allow the 2nd side to brown.

  • Remove from the pan, cut in 1/2 and top with fresh or dried parsley.
