Rosemary & Herb Sausage Stuffing

We took our classic GF & Vegan stuffing and stepped it up a notch with the Winter’s Turkey Rosemary Herb & Garlic Sausages which we snagged from Lee’s Gourmet and they turned out AMAZING!

We still used GF bread but we obviously stepped away from vegan for this given we added the sausage to the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 6-8 Cups Gluten-Free Bread Cubes

  • 3-4 Rosemary Herb Sausages

  • 2-3 Cups Vegetable Broth

  • 1/2 White Onion (or 1 Cup), diced

  • 2-3 Celery Stalks (or 1 Cup), diced

  • 1 Cup Carrots, diced

  • 2-3 Tbsp Margarine

  • 3-4 Tbsp. Thyme Evoolution Oil

  • 3-4 Tbsp. JamDinners Turkey Dry Rub

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees.

  • In a medium pan, heat Thyme Oil over medium heat then remove the sausage from the casing and cook.

  • In a separate pan, add the remaining Thyme Oil then add in the onion, celery, carrots, and 1/2 the turkey dry rub. Cook over mediums heat until carrots are tender, approx 10-15 minutes.

  • In a large bowl combine the bread cubes with the cooked sausage and vegetable mixture as well as remaining dry rub. Pour chicken broth over top of the cubes evenly until moist. Gently toss, DO NOT pour too much and make the bread soggy or it won’t taste great. If you do not use all the vegetable broth that is okay!

  • Season with additional turkey dry rub as desired. I also like to add a small dollop or two of margarine to the top of the mixture before baking.

  • Pour into a lightly greased baking pan and bake covered for 30-40 minutes. Stir then back uncovered for 10-15 more minutes.

  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite turkey, gravy and potatoes!

  • If you have leftovers, you can also always plan to make Leftover Stuffing Waffles!
