'Big Mac' Salad

Big Mac’s are a MUST if you eat McDonald’s. I could eat one every day … I don’t though. I do crave the flavors of a BigMac though frequently so instead of jumping into the car and heading to the closest McDonald’s I put together this replica salad without the bun to make me feel better about myself. I even make the Big Mac Sauce from scratch and you can find that recipe here.

Serving Size: 3 Salads

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef

  • 6 Cups Iceberg Lettuce, shredded

  • 1 Cup Mac Sauce

  • 1/2 White Onion, chopped

  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • 4 Pickles, sliced

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Fully cook ground beef in a pan on the stove, season with salt and pepper. While the beef is cooking, prep your salad bowl with all of the ingredients.

  • Once beef is cooked, scoop on top of salad bowl, top with dressing and mix well.
