Italian Meatballs

I wanted to write something funny in an Italian voice … but we all know that wouldn’t come out over typing text so ….. here are simple and delicious Italian meatballs!

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Ground Chicken

  • 3/4 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs

  • 1 Egg

  • 2-2 Tsp. JamDinners Italian Seasoning

  • Cooking Spray or Vegetable Oil

Directions

  • Pre-heat Oven to 375F degrees. In a medium sized bowl mix in all ingredients except 1/2 a tsp of Italian seasoning. If the chicken mixture is a little too sticky, add more bread crumbs, a little at a time.

  • Spray cooking spray onto a cooking sheet. Form chicken mixture into 1.5 -2 inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.

  • Once fully cooked, brush with slight oil and sprinkle with remaining seasoning.

MAKE IT EASY - Purchase pre-made plain meatballs and season 1/2 way through cooking.

MAKE IT EXTRA - Sear all sides of the meatballs in a hot frying pan with a little oil to seal in the moisture and flavor before baking.

MAKE IT VEGETARIAN - Swap the ground chicken for a ground ‘Beyond Meat’ or ‘Very Good Butcher’ product.
