Garlic Rosemary Focaccia
This year is the year of switch ups so why not also switch up the bread you use for Christmas dinner! We pulled together this tasty Rosemary Focaccia and it is so damn good! It is very intimidating but such an easy recipe!
ingredients
1.5 Cups Warm Water
3 Tbsp. + 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
3.5 Cups Flour
1.5 Tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp or Packet of Active Dry Yeast
2-3 Tsp. Garlic Infused Oil for drizzle
2 Tsp. Coarse or Flaked Salt
Fresh Rosemary
Directions
Using a stand mixer, and a dough fork combine all ingredients except the flaked salt and rosemary and 2 Tbsp. of the olive oil then mix until a sticky ball.
Take the remaining 2 Tbsp. of oil and brush a 9x9 pan with the oil then transfer the sticky dough to the pan. Spread out the mixture into all corners then cover with a towel. Let sit for approx. 60 minutes.
Just before 60 minutes is up, pre-heat the oven to 375F. After 60 minutes, remove the towel and poke the dough all over with your index finger. Drizzle the garlic infused oil across the dough then sprinkle with the salt and fresh rosemary and bake for approx 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and cut into rectangles or squares then serve with soft butter or margarine.
