St. Patty's Day Dipped Pretzels
I will take any excuse to celebrate St. Patty’s Day! Typically my celebrations involve a couple green beers but once in awhile I am down for a simple dessert. That’s exactly what this recipe is. I don’t think I could make it any simpler. So if you are hosting or attending a St. Patty’s Day party be sure to make these and you will most definitely be getting some praise!
Ingredients
30-40 Pretzels
1 Box Bakers White Chocolate (or White Chocolate Chips)
Green Sprinkles
Green Food Coloring (Optional)
Directions
Break 1/2 the box of white chocolate into squares (or a 1/3 cup chocolate chips) and place in to a microwave safe dish (preferably a glass measuring cup). Heat for approx. 30 seconds then remove and mix. If it is melted enough you are good, if not, put in for another 10-15 seconds. Lay parchment paper out on a baking sheet. Dip 1 pretzel at a time into the melted chocolate then lay out on the parchment paper. Melt the other 1/2 of the chocolate and complete the same process.
While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the green sprinkles onto the pretzels. once all pretzels are complete, place the baking sheet in the freezer for 5 minutes to cool the chocolate.
If you want to add green food coloring add it to the squares of chocolate prior to melting then mix it up after it has melted.
