St. Patty's Day Dipped Pretzels

I will take any excuse to celebrate St. Patty’s Day! Typically my celebrations involve a couple green beers but once in awhile I am down for a simple dessert. That’s exactly what this recipe is. I don’t think I could make it any simpler. So if you are hosting or attending a St. Patty’s Day party be sure to make these and you will most definitely be getting some praise!

Ingredients

  • 30-40 Pretzels

  • 1 Box Bakers White Chocolate (or White Chocolate Chips)

  • Green Sprinkles

  • Green Food Coloring (Optional)

Directions

  • Break 1/2 the box of white chocolate into squares (or a 1/3 cup chocolate chips) and place in to a microwave safe dish (preferably a glass measuring cup). Heat for approx. 30 seconds then remove and mix. If it is melted enough you are good, if not, put in for another 10-15 seconds. Lay parchment paper out on a baking sheet. Dip 1 pretzel at a time into the melted chocolate then lay out on the parchment paper. Melt the other 1/2 of the chocolate and complete the same process.

  • While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the green sprinkles onto the pretzels. once all pretzels are complete, place the baking sheet in the freezer for 5 minutes to cool the chocolate.

  • If you want to add green food coloring add it to the squares of chocolate prior to melting then mix it up after it has melted.
