BBQ Shrimp Kabobs
BBQ Season is upon us and we couldn’t be happier! This means less dishes which is always a huge PLUS but also we get to be a little more creative with how we cook our dishes. We love Shrimp! I mean - who doesn’t? There is soooo many dishes you can use shrimp in but the best one is simply spicing them up and bbq-ing them! We wanted a little variety so we did 3 different types of shrimp - check it out!
Serving Size: 2-3
Ingredients
40-50 Medium Sized Raw Shrimp
Lemon Pepper Shrimp - Lemon Pepper Seasoning to taste
Spicy Shrimp - Red Chili Flakes, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder to taste
Seasoned Shrimp - Paprika, Seasoning Salt, Pepper to taste
Kebob Sticks
Directions
Do not peel shrimp, leave the tails on so they are easy to hold when you take them off the kebob sticks. If you have wood kebob sticks - soak them in a dish of cool water for a minimum of 2 hours so they don’t burn on the BBQ. If you use metal kebob sticks, then you are good.
Put shrimp onto kebob sticks and dress with whichever seasoning options you want! The world is your oyster! Make sure to dress both sides of the shrimp.
Place on a medium heat BBQ and cook for 10-20 minutes. Flipping the shrimp 1/2 way through. Be sure not to overcook. Once the shrimp turn pink they are good! Pair them with some delicious Seasoned Asparagus (see that recipe too!).
