Basil Pesto
The easiest sauce ever.
Ingredients
1 Cup fresh Basil Leaves
1/2 Cup Olive Oil (we substituted a couple Tbsp. with our EVOO Basil Oil)
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
1/4 Cup Walnuts, chopped
3-4 Cloves of Garlic
2 Tsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. If the mixture is still too thick add in a little extra oil at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks or until parmesan cheese expiry date.
